  • Thaw your meat and pat it dry with a paper towel before applying the rub.
  • Apply the rub dry, or brush the meat lightly with oil prior to spreading the rub. (Either way, make sure you spread it evenly.)
  • Adjust the amount of rub to taste, depending on the desired intensity of flavor. The flavors will mellow somewhat during cooking.
Storage
Store in cool, dry place, and use within 2 years.
