"This Soup Is Delish!" Stacey Hubbard on 02/11/2019 19:46 Review: This soup is delicious! I’m sold on adding scallops to it. I think I’ll try adding coconut milk as others have suggested just to stretch it out a bit.

"Love love love this soup" Lesli D on 06/22/2018 23:23 Review: Love adding salmon and scallops to it. Sometimes I will add some more coconut milk when I want a lighter version and even got creative and added some sauteed baby bok choy to it. You can do all kinds of stuff. Even chickpeas taste awesome in this soup!!!!

"Good" Trish D on 06/15/2018 02:33 Review: At first taste I found this a bit salty as I avoid excess sodium but after adding my ingredients (peas, meat, fresh onion and fresh mint) it was tasty. I’m not finding the top quality reflected in the cost however all natural and no chemicals is important to me and it’s convenient to not have to cook as I’m disabled. - Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear your disappointment in this product. Our Customer Service Team will follow up with you regarding this order. Thank you, The Vital Choice Team

Thawing instructions
Thaw pouch in a bowl — to catch leaks due to small tears/holes that may develop on rare occasions — under refrigeration at or below 38 degrees Fahrenheit (3 degrees Celsius).

For quick-thawing, place frozen pouch in cool water for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, just until contents are flexible. Once thawed, immediately cook or refrigerate.

  • Empty contents into saucepan and heat gently until soup is warmed through and steam curls from the pan. If you wish, add seafood of your choice, thawed and drained. Try halibut, small Oregon shrimp, and spot prawns!
  • Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Do not allow the soup to come to a hard boil, and don’t simmer longer than is needed to cook the seafood through.
  • Remove pan from heat and leave lid in place for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and enjoy!

One soup pouch serves two to four, depending on the amount of seafood added.
