Known as the "cabernet" of berries, blackberries feature an earthy, wine-like flavor.

They're delicious served over ice cream, yogurt, and other fruits, or used in berry-based recipes for pies, cobblers, and sauces.

Blackberries are exceptionally rich in polyphenol compounds (anthocyanins, ellagic acid, quercetin, and procyandins) that are believed to support brain, vascular, and overall health.

In fact, blackberries offer higher polyphenol levels than blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries.

This sweet, dark purple fruit also offers abundant fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid (a B vitamin), and manganese.

Note: Our organic blackberries are washed and ready to eat — despite great care, small leaf or stem fragments may occasionally remain.

These are the most AMAZING berries I have ever tasted, other than picking my own (which I don't have anymore). — Cynthia Gooding

"Blackberries" Donna on 03/30/2018 07:30 Review: Delicious Blackberries. Very happy with Vital Choice

"Blackberries" Joan B on 01/08/2018 12:57 Review: Uh oh---they were sour, very sour. I could see some riper ones among the lighter color--not fully ripe-berries. I don't do much sugar, so these could not be sweetened to eat. Perhaps a little more quality control at the picking site. I was disappointed, they looked good and description sounded good. Very rare to get something not as described or tasty. I grow blackberries at my ranch, and these were sadly picked too soon. - Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear your disappointment in this product. Our Customer Service Team will follow up with you regarding this order. Thank you, The Vital Choice Team

"Great taste" Nancy N. on 10/25/2017 19:13 Review: Great taste - both sweet and a little tart - just the way I like them. I did find that the texture was somewhat mushy after thawing, but this may be normal for frozen berries. In any case, I won’t let any go to waste. I plan to add a handful to a kale shake for sweetness and possibly a blackberry sorbet.
