Bronzed Alaska Salmon in a Butter-Wine Sauce
Sometimes simple is betterlike when time is short and appetites are sharp. This recipe makes it easy to enjoy one of nature’s best and best-tasting foods in style, but without stress.

People who visit our booth at health conferences love our Organic Salmon Marinade, which we put on the salmon we cook up to sample. It goes great with most any fish, and folks end up using it on everything from scrambled eggs to grilled chicken or vegetables. It’s available with or without salt, to your preference.

Bronzed Alaska Salmon in a Butter-Wine Sauce

Prep time 5 minutes
Serves 4

4 wild Alaskan Salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1 tablespoon organic extra virgin olive or macadamia nut oil
2 ablespoons Vital Choice Salmon Marinade seasoning mix (or other seasoning blend)
1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
1 tablespoon butter

  • Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brush both sides of salmon with oil. Place salmon in heated skillet and cook, uncovered, about 3 to 4 minutes, until browned. Shake pan occasionally to keep fish from sticking.
  • Turn salmon over and sprinkle with seafood seasoning. Cover pan tightly and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 2 minutes; add the wine and butter to pan. Continue to cook, uncovered, an additional 1‒2 minutes. Cook just until fish is opaque throughout and sauce is reduced.
  • Drizzle sauce over salmon when serving.
