We only purchase almonds from the most recent harvest season, and use thick, re-sealable pouches to maintain freshness. Research indicates that these tasty whole foods help promote optimal health: -
More protein than the typical egg (6gm per one-ounce serving, versus 5.5gm per egg). -
Rich in magnesium and flavonoids, including some of the catechin-class polyphenols found in green tea and chocolate. -
Almonds provide three micronutrients essential to energy production: manganese, copper, and vitamin B2. *Manufactured on shared equipment with peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk or wheat products. | | | |
| | Raw versus Roasted There's little nutritional distinction between our raw and roasted-salted nuts. The major difference is sodium content, with the roasted-salted nuts containing 90-95 mg per 1/4 cup servings, versus 0-3 mg in the raw nuts. (See Nutrition Info, below.)
We offer both to accommodate personal preferences. Many prefer roasted nuts for snacking, and raw nuts in cereal or yogurt and with berries or other fresh foods. It's up to you!
