Ideal conditions of "terroir" yield these sweet, tangy blueberries, which rank near the peak of the antioxidant scale.
In addition to vitamins and fiber, Wild Blueberries are unusually rich in the purple-red antioxidants (anthocyanins) associated in cell and animal studies with myriad health benefits, including enhancement of of key aspects of cardiovascular and brain health.
Compared with most cultivated varieties, Wild Blueberries offer higher levels of anthocyanin pigments.
*Like virtually all dried organic blueberries, ours contain a little added organic cane sugar to balance their tartness and organic sunflower oil to reduce clumping. We continue to seek a suitable, reliable source of first quality unsweetened organic blueberries.
Note: Manufactured on shared equipment with products containing wheat, milk, peanuts, and tree nuts. | |
