Our Salmon Patty Meal Kit makes quick, tasty meals naturally rich in healthful protein, vitamin D, omega-3s and more.
 
Each Kit provides the basics for succulent Salmon Patties, their zesty Organic Herb Sauce topping, and a quick, deliciously complementary Organic Vegetable Quinoa side dish!
 
As directed, just blend the Kit contents with a few added ingredients – eggs, olive oil, and nonfat yogurt – to create a quick, tasty, highly healthful meal that serves four, generously.
 
Easy instructions are provided on the package insert and under the Serving/Storage tab, above.
 
Each Kit includes:
  • Wild Red™ Sockeye Salmon* – Two 7.5 oz (212g) cans
  • Organic Salmon Patty Mix – 6.7 oz (190g)
  • Organic Vegetable Quinoa* Mix – 7.6 oz (215g)
  • Organic Salmon Patty Herb Sauce Mix – 0.32 oz (9g)
*Traditional Style with skin and soft, edible bones for maximum omega-3s and calcium.

*About quinoa
Quinoa (keen-whah) is a grain-like, gluten-free, easily digestible, protein-rich Andean plant related to beets and spinach. It features a light, fluffy texture, with a mild, slightly nutty flavor.
 
Unlike wheat or rice, quinoa provides unusually “complete” plant protein in rare abundance (12 to 18 percent by weight). It’s also a good source of fiber, phosphorus, magnesium, and iron.
This Score applies only to the Canned Sockeye; the other meal components will exert little effect on your body's Omega Balance.
 
Each Meal Kit includes two 7.5 oz cans of Wild Red™ Sockeye Salmon, Organic Patty Mix, Organic Herb Sauce Mix, and Organic Vegetable Quinoa Mix.
 
 
 

Store in a cool dry place.
 
Instructions for Salmon Patties, Herb Sauce, and Vegetable Quinoa side dish:
 
Salmon Patties (makes six* 4.5 oz. patties)
  • Mix 2 large eggs with 2 tablespoons of water in a medium bowl, and whisk until smooth.
  • Lightly drain both cans of Vital Choice Wild Red™ sockeye salmon.
  • Add sockeye and Salmon Patty Mix to egg mixture, gently breaking up sockeye to combine. Form into 6 patties.
  • Brush or spray a large non-stick skillet lightly with olive oil and place over medium heat for 1 minute. Place patties in pan and cook for a total of 10 minutes, turning once.
*You can make patties in any size you wish, to produce more or less than six.
 
Organic Vegetable Quinoa (makes five 4 oz. servings)
  • In small pot with lid, bring 2-3/4 cups water to a boil over high heat. Add quinoa mix and reduce heat to low.
  • Cover and simmer 15 to 20 min. Fluff with a fork and keep covered until ready to serve.
Salmon Patty Herb Sauce (makes one half-cup sauce for patties)
In a small bowl, whisk 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt with herb sauce mix. Let stand 30 minutes so flavors can blend. Serve with salmon patties.

Organic flax seed meal, Organic amaranth flour, Organic onions, Organic bell peppers, Organic dried tomatoes, sea salt, Organic garlic powder, Organic black pepper.
Vegetable Quinoa Mix:
Organic quinoa, dried Organic carrots, dried Organic onions, dried Organic bell peppers, sea salt.
Salmon Patty Herb Sauce Mix:
Dried Organic lemon peel, dried Organic parsley, dried Organic chives, Organic garlic, Organic mustard, sea salt, Organic cayenne pepper. All ingredients are certified organic except for canned salmon and sea salt.
