How is your salmon oil made?
In contrast to most fish oils, which are extracted from whole, uneviscerated fish, our sockeye salmon oil comes from the heads of fresh-caught sockeye salmon, not the liver or other entrails. It is micro-filtered and encapsulated, not high-temperature distilled, and therefore retains its natural omega-3s, astaxanthin, and vitamins A and D. Our oil is periodically tested for purity and potency by NSF International.
