Plain and Peppercorn (half of each) • No artificial coloring, nitrites or preservatives • Natural alderwood smoke • Individually vacuum-sealed • Our wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon is certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council.

Our Mixed Portions package brings you both of our savory Hot-Smoked Sockeye selections: Plain and Peppercorn.

Simply put, Vital Choice Hot-Smoked Salmon is markedly superior to most supermarket and deli brands.

Our sustainably harvested Sockeye Salmon – the perfect species for this purpose – is cured in salt brine, hot-smoked over pure, natural alderwood, then immediately vacuum-packed and flash frozen.

Once thawed, it tastes like it just came out of the smoker!

"I am in love with your hot-smoked salmon. It is fabulous flaked and scrambled with eggs and onions." -- Dana Jacobi, author of "12 Best Foods” Cookbook

Storage
Keep frozen until ready to serve. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, or for faster readiness, place unopened package in cold water for 30 minutes or until smoked fish is flexible.

Serving Tips
Smoked salmon is as safe as cooked fish, thanks to the natural, salt-mediated curing process and flash-freezing.
• Serve on a bialy, whole grain bagel, thin-sliced dark rye bread, or crisp rye cracker such as Wasa Bread. Spread the bagel, bread, or cracker with light cream cheese or avocado and top the salmon with thin tomato slices and/or capers and fresh basil leaves.
• Crumble chunks into scrambled eggs with chopped, quick-sautéed chives, scallions, or bell peppers.
