Salmon en Papillote - Viking Cooking Video

The folks at the Viking Cooking School just posted a new YouTube video demonstrating Viking Chef Riki Senn’s recipe for Salmon en Papillote, featuring Vital Choice wild Alaskan sockeye salmon.
 
As our readers may recall, we recently partnered with Viking Cooking School … a division of Viking Range Corporation, which originated commercial-type appliances for the home.
 
As part of this partnershipdescribed in our joint press releaseselected cooking classes at the Ridgeland, Mississippi, Viking Cooking School will feature wild seafood provided by Vital Choice.
 
The ingredients and preparation for Chef Senn’s Salmon en Papillote couldn’t be simpler, or the outcome tastier!
 
She demonstrates the preparation and coooking of one 6 oz portion, which makes one or two servings, depending on appetites.
 

Salmon en Papillote
To serve more people, just cook more 6 oz portions, each in its own parchment package.
 
Parchment paper
Fresh leeks and bell pepper
Wild Alaskan sockeye salmon6 oz skinless-boneless portion(s)
White wine or vermouth
Fresh parsley and dill
Lemon slices
Butter
 
  • Just follow Chef Senn's clear assembly instructions, then place the parchment pack(s) on a pan and cook in a pre-heated 450 F oven for 8 minutes. Remove, open the parchment carefully, and serve.
